Streamlined GitOps Deployments with Bazel and Buildkite: Automating Kubernetes Updates at Scale

A Skydio development-efficiency engineer reported that the company created Bazel rules and a Buildkite pipeline to generate GitOps deployment pull requests.

The speaker says Skydio created rules_deployment to turn Kubernetes YAML or Jsonnet into GitOps pull requests and integrated the Bazel rules with Buildkite and Argo CD.
